"Bachelor Party" Video
Rick is an underachieving school bus driver who wants to marry Debbie, a wealthy debutante with a nice set of cans. Debbie's family hates Rick and wants her to marry an obnoxious yuppie named Cole. Rick doesn't give a fuck - about anything. His whacked out friends decide to give him a bachelor bash for the ages.
Long before Tom Hanks became a "serious" actor and totally destroyed his comic potential, he starred in a number of uneven comedies - some that hit the mark and some that missed by a fucking mile. In addition, he turned a cameo as drunken "Uncle Ned" on "Family Ties" into a couple of the series' most memorable episodes. Then he had that short stint on "Bosom Buddies" acting in drag along with that other actor (what the hell happened to him?) and that hot blonde (what the hell ever happened to her?) in the Susan B. Anthony Hotel. Bachelor Party was a natural career move for Hanks, who actually made his film debut as one of the dumb teens in the classic horror flick He Knows Your Alone. Let's face it, Bachelor Party costar Adrian Zmed was more popular than Hanks at the time. On the tasteless quality meter, Bachelor Party lies somewhere between Police Academy and Animal House. Apparently, it was actually written by the same guys who unleashed Police Academy on an unsuspecting world. Highlights include Cole trying to bribe Rick with the appliances, the hookers showing up at the bridal shower, a donkey that overdoses, dopehead Brad trying to kill himself with an electric razor, the pimp who looks like Gandhi, Gary scoring with a "chick" who turns out to be a transvestite, the bus crashing through the screen during a 3-D movie and, of course, some brief, albeit quality, breast shots.
