"Bride Of The Monster" Video

"In Ed Wood Jr.’s Bride of the Monster (1956), a film that employs so many inappropriate reaction shots that it suggests a combined Kuleshov-Rorschach test, a secretary abruptly picks up a phone and starts talking. Did the director overlook the necessity of dialing? Did he forget to post-dub the sound of the ring?"

This wouldn't be my favorite of Ed Wood's films but it still pretty good. The best scene would have be the very intense monster scene, which involves Bela Lugosi being 'attacked' by a rubber octopus. Rely on bad editing, cheezy dialogue and a lot of stock footage... all of Mr. Wood's trademarks.
