"Beck - Loser" Video

I have to admit, I'm not a huge Beck fan. In fact, I'd rather have Rosie O'Donnell sit on my face then listen to Beck's entire catalog in one sitting. Okay, maybe not, but you get the idea. Beck has been described as "eclectic" - meaning he's all over the board, incorporating a lot of different styles. Apparently, he's also a Scientologist (which explains a hell of a lot!). However, to me at least, "Loser" is Beck's most accessible song and a true anthem to slackers during the early 1990s (frankly I prefer Radiohead's "Creep," which covers a lot of the same ground). The video follows some wooden casket that's cruising around, we see a glimpse of "Death". Some asshole appears with a shirt that proclaims him to be a "loser". Then some homeless bum climbs out of the casket and starts playing the guitar. More losers dance around in a cemetery. The casket cruises by a check cashing store for some reason. Some dude plays the guitar on a rooftop. There's even a breakdancer. The bum wanders down the street with the guitar and a dog in toe. "Soy un perdedor."

I remember the first time I heard this song; at an Extreme Championship Wrestling event. It kicked ass that night and still kicks ass!
