"Queen Featuring David Bowie - Under Pressure" Video

Amateur Video

The "Under Pressure" video is basically a bunch of diverse film clips strung together - buildings being demolished, bridges blowing up, traffic jams, the Great Depression and some old movie footage such as the silent film classic, Nosferatu, a masterpiece of German Expressionism. Apparently David Bowie stopped by the studio as Queen was recording in Switzerland and this collaboration was the result (original title: "People on Streets"). This was a cool song until Vanilla Ice "sampled" the famous bassline for his 1990 rap song, "Ice Ice Baby." They sued the shit out of "Ice" and now he's a regular on "The Surreal Life." Hell, it's still a cool song . . .
