I remember the first time I ever watched "Once in a Lifetime" and I was thinking to myself, "What the fuck is this shit?" David Byrne, decked out like a sweaty reject from a Revenge of the Nerds audition, "dances" around like Louis Skolnick after he has just hit the crack pipe. You can call it brilliant, bizarre, innovative or creepy - either way I don't give a shit. Bottom line: It's very original but I don't really feel the need to EVER watch this video again . . .
Believe it or not, the "Once in a Lifetime" video was exhibited in the New York Museum of Modern Art. You can blame Toni "Mickey" Basil for the choreography.
