I think this is a great song but the video itself is kind of fuckin' stupid - just some clips of the band (Sting, Steward Copeland and Andy Summers) goofing around in the studio mixed in with some live footage. Sting wears a bowtie for some unknown reason. Nothing special here at all. Looks like they just threw this shit together. Great song though - a study in loneliness, alienation and total despair. The Police sang "Message in a Bottle," as well as "Roxanne" and "Every Breath You Take," during their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
