Haven't we all experienced "Brian Wilson moments" at various low points in our lives - those times that you just want to lie in bed all day like some total slug - fat, bloated and defeated . . . The lyrics refer to Beach Boy Brian Wilson's total mental breakdown during the late '70s and early '80s when he spent about 3 years in bed, became addicted to cocaine and tipped the scales at well over 300 pounds. And what about Brian Wilson, did he end up suing the band for libel? Hell no, he actually learned the lyrics and sang the song himself at some of his concerts. Okay, I'm out of material.
