Great song that appears on the Magnolia soundtrack . . . Aimee Mann, cofounder of 'Til Tuesday, embarked on a solo career in 1993. Director Paul Thomas Anderson, a big fan of Mann's work, shaped his screenplay for Magnolia around the songs. I like the songs better than the movie, which seems as bloated and overwrought as a Chris De Burgh video.
