For those lucky enough to catch Bjork during her critically acclaimed, two-year Volta Tour, Voltaic serves as an incredible document of that amazing concert experience. For those who missed out, Voltaic is the next best thing to being there. All in all, Voltaic serves as another milestone in the brilliant career of Bjork, one of the most innovative musical artists of our time. Eclectic, mesmerizing, full of energy, visually stunning, boldly creative and defiantly original, Voltaic definitely belongs in the collection of any true Bjork fan.

Released by Nonesuch Records in June 2009 and available in five different physical configurations, this special DVD/CD/VINYL celebration of the Volta Tour (which followed the release of Bjork's sixth full-length studio album, Volta, in May 2007) contains a treasure chest of great Bjork-related material, including filmed highlights from the Volta Tour (recorded in Paris and Reykjavik), all of the Volta music videos (including "Declare Independence," "Wanderlust" and "Earth Intruders"), a selection of songs from the Volta Tour recorded live at the legendary Olympic Studios in London and key remixes from Volta with versions of "Earth Intruders," "Declare Independence," "Innocence," "Wanderlust" and "Dull Flame of Desire" by the likes of Simian Mobile Disco, Matthew Herbert, Graeme Sinden, Ghostigital and Modeselektor.

Bjork's band during the Volta Tour included Mark Bell of LFO, computers and keyboards; Damian Taylor, keyboards and programming; Chris Corsano, drums and percussion; Jonas Sen, piano, harpsichord and church organ; and Bjork's all-female Icelandic 10-piece brass section.
